CONFERENCE ROOM

DEPARTMENT OF HUMAN AND SOCIAL SCIENCES, P.LE S. AGOSTINO 3

How much is itpossible to achieve inclusive education in schools today? This question is raising serious attention and sparking strong debates nowadyas among school professionals and stakeholders.

Schools in many countries are launching new interesting projects and set up original educational interventions to that aim.

In this starting fase is especially valuable to see what practices based on the Index for Inclusion approach have already been developed and established in Italy and abroad.

The seminar goal is not to identify pedagogical models, but to offer an overview of good practices and reflections from which we can take the cue and start to build a network of relationships and mutual exchanges about inclusive education.

The seminar will introduce the projects implemented in schools of Norfolk (UK), Turin, and Bergamo. We will also offer a critical review of first year fieldwork with the Â«Index in tour», held in collaboration with WeWorld.
